The Tigard High Safe Grad Night is a fantastic tradition that requires A LOT of parent support! THS parents and guardians are welcome to join us at our monthly planning meetings.

Meetings are the first Monday of each month, 7-8pm in the Career Center!

Safe Celebration

For nearly 40 years, Tigard High parents have provided our Seniors with a SAFE and FUN graduation night that’s drug and alcohol free.

The Tigard Grad Night Committee—a group of high-school parent volunteers—comes together each year to plan, fundraise, and host an all-night graduation party that offers a ton of activities, games, and prizes at a fun, secret location. Transportation to and from the event is provided.

Parents matter the most when it comes to the prevention of teen alcohol use. Nationally, students state their number one reason for NOT drinking alcohol or using other drugs is because their parents would not approve. Even when you think they aren’t listening, THEY ARE!

It is for this reason Tigard Safe Grads encourages all parents/guardians to speak out against teen alcohol and drug use. We need parents/guardians and influential adults to stay informed and involved in their teens’ lives.
